Ah yes, finally it's a Saturday. So what's up today? Yeah, the usual sea rowing session at SDBA. Met Wai Leong on the MRT to Kallang. It wasn't such a smooth meeting though because we were suppose to meet at Outram Park but he got off the train thinking I hadn't got on but it was the opposite... Ended up meeting him at Tanjong Pagar instead. Was suppose to reach there earlier to get a little warm-up row but sadly, I overslept, thus we had no time for it. Next time probably... =)

After the usual warm-up, we had our jog to the first bridge. Following that, it was sprints all the way back to the start point. Kinda erm... Not my favourite activity but it's over. Then onto the boats we go! The junior boat was doing alright for the starting 4 sets but soon as it reached the 1 minutes and 500-metre sprints, it was all downhill for us guys. We barely had any energy left for those sets and it seemed damn demoralising watching all the boats pull away (Note: ALL the boats = SAFSA, NUS, NTU and our seniors...). Didn't really have the mood to row properly after those sets. When it came to starts, the result was somehow similar. We did not even catch up with the seniors a tad bit and worst of all, during the last set, we had to collide into the buoyancy ball! What the fuck man. It totally caused all the anger in us to burst out like flames in a backdraft. Overall feel for the day's rowing, was alright but we junior guys have got to put in more effort for water endurance. I really do think we have the chance to prove ourselves more worthy than just being able to win the seniors in like the 1st or 2nd set. Work on harder fellas! WE CAN DO IT! =D

And this section here is dedicated specially to our coach AH HUAT because it happens to be his birthday today! Although he might not be able to read this, but I still have to voice out my thoughts and feelings. Happy birthday coach! He has been an inspiring figure in our team, especially when he stood in front of our boat, we felt the motivation in him and thus was able to perform better or if not, all the best we could. I admire the way he coaches and the belief he has in all of us. We won't disappoint you...

Alright, let's go on to the details after training. Went to Milennia Walk for dinner again. -_-" It felt kinda boring having to walk all the way there just for some crappy shit dinner but at least there was Candy Empire! =D After having my bowl of beef noodles, we guys headed back to Suntec to jalan jalan. Ended up going to the arcade after finding out that we had no good seats for White Chicks. Man, was the time at the arcade an enjoyable one! Danced DDR with Odel. Step step step step step step step step! Reminds me of the old days when I actually played the game in order to shed those extra pounds... Had loads of fun just jumping around and dancing to the tunes. Odel did pretty well, although she could have done better... Wahahaha... But unluckily for her, there has to be a better someone dancing beside her... Hahahaha... It's alright Odel, train harder and I'm sure u will beat me someday. =) After arcading, we somehow ended up at the Sky Garden's playground. Did nothing much but just slacking around doing nothing so soon after, we guys left for home.

As we bid adieu at City Hall MRT Station, Odel and I went walking around trying to find something to do. The night was still young, so we decided to just stroll here and there... We actually wanted to hunt down Yong Quan and his scandal, but it was a futile attempt. So, both of us ended sitting down at the Esplanade, in front of the river, along a curb on the path. Talked about stuff. Mainly dragonboat stuff. Yeah. We chatted and chatted till about 2330 hours when a call was answered by her. Odel's long time friends have called her out, so we just went back to City Hall and said farewell then and there. Now still waiting for her to return home ah... Lol. Yah lor, so that's about it for today lah. Going to play Counter-Strike and watch Requiem For A Dream to pass some time while waiting... Till next time, bB~*

Peace ouT.
