In a flick of an eye, or in Chinese, yi shun jian, a month has gone by. It seems that time flies by without us noticing it. Maybe it's time to reflect a little - Did you spend your time wisely? What have you done in the past 30 days? What do you plan to do in future? Why do I say that, plainly because time waits for no man. Alright enough of this... =P
Saturday. Training was pretty much alright, thanks to the lighter tyre that we pulled compared to that in Hot Leong's boat... After that, went straight down to Serangoon Gardens to study with Jasmine, Vivien, Joanne, Shu Rong and Sok Kim. Did study a little of BSTATS and before I knew it, we were at Chomp Chomp readying ourselves for dinner. I just ate a measly packet of Camel Sugar Peanuts... I'm serious.
However, the highlight wasn't the food. It was this guy. A guy without shame? Without pride? Without any dignity? What was he? He was someone who knelt down on the floor, begging his girlfriend for forgiveness, in front of everyone in Chomp Chomp. His girlfriend was with 3 other female counterparts, but they couldn't give a damn about him kneeling. It was quite a while when the fun part began. There was this uncle who just couldn't bear the sight of a man hurting his pride and dignity, went straight up to that poor fella and reprimanded him like his own son. He kept commanding that guy to stand up and not kneel down anymore whilst his presumable wife, was busy telling the girlfriend to ask that fella to stand up as well. All this went on for quite a while till finally the uncle managed to forcefully persuade that guy to stand. After the commotion was over, when we were just about to leave, one of the girl's friends shouted out to the onlookers, "See what see, you all no father mother ah?" Hahahaha... This statement was met with a straight "Fuck you" from one of the middle-aged man. All I could do was just laugh and return to the table... This isn't exactly every single detail but yeah, the overall gist is there... Over and out.
Sunday. Yeah. Was woken up, not by my alarm clock, but by some irritating mosquito which refused to drink my younger brother's blood and chose mine instead. Planned to wake up at 6.40, ended up waking at 6. Damn it.
What's so special about today? Surf And Sweat baby! Took part with Melissa in the Mixed Institutional Race. What could I say, beautiful sun, sandy beaches, gorgeous babes... Good day to be at Sentosa's Siloso Beach. All I would say would be that it was a good experience running the 3km trail. Tiring but endurable, except for the steps... -_-" Definitely going to join next year's one as well... Both Melissa and I ranked 25th overall, not bad actually! =D
Yeah sorry fellas for missing out on those crucial details about the event, don't really have the mood to type them out... Perhaps you could try looking at someone else's blog? Yeah, I think that's mainly what I have in mind. Monday's gonna be a brand new day, a brand new week, the Common Test week. Back to the books before Tuesday's paper and also, am gonna hit the gym with my new routine... Can't wait to try it out! =D Okok. Stop.
Peace ouT.
7, 8, 9, 10, STRETCH OUT!
